Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 4, 2026

Dressed helps a parent or guardian pick a weather-appropriate outfit for their child. It is built to collect as little as possible. This policy explains exactly what the app does — and does not — do with information.

The short version: No account. No ads. No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We never sell data. Your location is used only to fetch the local forecast and is not stored. Your settings stay on your device.

Information the app uses

These are sent to our server to return the weather and generate an outfit. That is the only reason they are transmitted.

What we do not do

Stored on your device

Your chosen city, age group, and preferences are saved locally on your device so the app remembers them next time. This stays on your device and is removed if you delete the app.

Service providers

To provide the forecast and outfit, our server sends the necessary request to:

These providers process the request only to deliver the result and do not receive names or account information.

Usage information

Our server may record non-identifying usage information — such as the age band and the general weather condition — to understand which outfits work and improve the app. This is not linked to you or your device and is not used to track you.

Children's privacy

Dressed is designed to be operated by a parent or guardian, not by a child. The age band is a broad category, not a birth date, and does not identify a child. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Notifications

If you turn on the optional morning reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device. No information leaves your device for this feature.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at this address.
